This four span through girder bridge crosses a channel of the Chippewa River in Montevideo.
Originally constructed in 1913, the bridge was built with a pair of short through girder spans on concrete substructures.
In 1958, the bridge was extended on the west end. An additional pair of through girders were added to the structure.
Currently, the bridge features a quartet of through girder spans on concrete substructures. The southern track was removed sometime between 1980 and the present day.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition. The substructures remain in excellent condition, while the superstructure shows some sign of age.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
